Fat Loss Advice - Drink more water (not as much as influencers say)

Water is the source of life. If those of us that paid attention in our biology lessons. Our Body is mainly water. SO why not give it what it needs?


Now, everybody and their instagram posts are carrying a water bottle in their bag for school, work and workouts… but how many of us are actually using it or actually drinking from it everyday on a regular basis?


Trust me, I’m guilty of this. I have a water bottle I fill up every morning before work and I can say with my hand on my heart I hardly ever drink from it. I end up drinking more cups of tea than anything else.


Whereas, 90% of the population are drinking energy drinks, and fancy coffee with cream, sweeteners and anything to hide the bitter taste of coffee. Instead they want their coffee to taste like a milkshake… and with more calories.


Drink more water.


And then there is coming home from work, “I’ve worked hard today or I’ve had a stressful day, I deserve a glass of wine or beer.” trust me it’s never just one and every day ends up stressful so people are drinking everyday and then binge drinking at the weekends! Because… Well it’s the weekend, right? I need to let my hair down!


All drinks have calories in them except – well you guessed it. Water.

You could through in black coffee, black tea and green tea because, drum roll please:-

Black coffee, black tea, and green tea are just water. If you start adding milk and sugars and creams and syrups and flavourings then you are stacking on the calories.


Drink only water with your meals and snacks.


Yes, you can still have your cup of tea with milk, and coffee with milk and yes, one glass of wine.

But it’s time to be honest about your drinking habits!


Not just your alcoholic drinks but your daily drinks.


Are you drinking energy drinks, sugary drinks, fizzy drinks instead of water?


You know how we started with tracking your calories? It’s now time to look in the mirror with a glass of water next to you and just start drinking a glass of water!


All we are going to do is drink more water than you currently are. I don’t care about the amount per litre per body weight, who has time to measure all that?! (stupid Influencers trying to sound clever)


Just drink more water than you currently are. Even if you start with one glass of water is more than you currently!


I like a glass of water with every snack and your 3 meals a day.
