Hi Team
Man, I had a rough week, my sleeping is all over the place, my kids have either started a school or moved rooms in the local nursery and their sleep patterns have meant that they either wake up in the middle of the night or very excited to go to school and waking up at 5am!
So tired is one word, then on Monday I got half way to work and forgot my laptop and had to travel all the way home and due to the Biblical rain storms in the UK everybody forgot how to drive and a 20 min drive to work took 90 mins!
I know, its the small stuff but it effected my mood and with my gym being outside I couldn't get to blow of the steam and cobwebs by working out. As I say, working out is also a time to work things out.
On a positive, I had outdoor lighting installed so now in the Winter I dont have to wear a head torch while working out in the pitch dark of English winters at 7pm! I've had my outdoor gym for around 5 years and I have no idea why I haven't installed out door lighting before! Game changer!
I got to workout with the lighting this week and the cobwebs and stress of the rough the day did get worked out of my system!
Next will be a roof to cover but that may have to wait until next year! I'm happy with the lighting this year! you know other expenses happen in life, cars, houses, boilers, family birthdays.
Life happens and there are a few things in life you need to make sure you do well.

The savings have taken a hit this summer so I need to get the savings topped up before I buy the roof for the gym!
Whats your Workout?
Talking of doing fitness well I saw Bruce Lee's workout this week, and I was impressed with the simple way of getting stronger.
He trained every other day, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
He alternated between two different exercise routines, A and B.
In essence, this is what he did:
Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday
Workout A
One-Arm Kettlebell Clean - 2 sets of 8 reps
Barbell Squat - 2 sets of 12 reps
Bent-Arm Barbell Pullover -2 sets of 8 reps
Barbell Bench Press – Medium Grip - 2 sets of 6 reps
Stiff Leg Barbell Good Morning - 2 sets of 8 reps
Barbell Curl - 2 sets of 8 reps
Workout B
One-Arm Kettlebell Clean - 3 sets of 6 reps
Barbell Squat - 4 sets of 6 reps
Stiff Leg Barbell Good Morning - 4 sets of 6 reps
Barbell Bench Press – Medium Grip - 4 sets of 5 reps
Barbell Curl - 4 sets of 6 reps
Do this for a few weeks and holy moly your body will look and feel like treasure!

Someone asked me this week, "Why do you like country music so much?"
Ray Charles once said "There are only to type of music, good music and bad music"
This is true, I can listen to whatever if it stirs something inside me.
But country music is good music because it's story telling of lover, heartbreak, family, working hard, good things, loss, dancing and friendship. It covers the whole spectrum of the human condition.
This song is a great song about doing friendship well and what it means to feel part of a group of friends that will be there no matter what.
