Holiday bodies and being the 1%

Hi team

I just got back from holiday in Spain at an all inclusive and had an amazing time with the family. It's really nice to see the kids trying new things and growing up and looking out for each other in new places.

I've had an injury to my shoulder for the last 10 or so weeks and finally it seems to be healing and at one point my son who is 3 said to me.

"When I grow up I will go to work with you and help you from those naughty people who gave you a sore shoulder."

So sweet.

Staying at an all inclusive is a very interesting experience and watching people, their habits on holiday and things.

What really struck me me that NOBODY looks like their Instagram photos.

Everybody has imperfections or filters really help! The reality is that only the 1% of people look like what you see on Instagram everyday as the gram shows you more of what you have already looked at.

I get down myself for not having the biggest muscles or the six pack abs that I see on the gram and I have to remind myself that I've never taken vitamin steroids or used Tren or whatever 16 year olds are taking in the gym nowadays.

I'm nearly 40 with 2 kids, work full time shift work.

If you take the all inclusive population In the hotel as a percentage for the world, I would say less than 1% workout. And that figure is about right worldwide.

So if you are getting some exercise in at least 3 times a week. Be proud of yourself and your body.

You are showing up, being consistent and doing your best.

So well done!

If you are a father and looking for some coaching for your next holiday body and have those abs showing and muscles popping get in touch!
