I finally hit a goal and would you just F*%*% off!

Hi Team

I finally hit my goal weight this week, after a few years of experimenting with things and foot and exercises.

It may be down to "The Perfect Workout" programme that I created and really dialling in how and what I eat.

Every month I write down 2 numbers:-

  1. Current weight

  2. Current amount in savings

and for both I have a goal.

Number 1 is knocked off and now the aim is to keep within 2kg of that weight plus or minus.

The second is always a struggle because well, there is this thing called.... life.

It sometimes gets in the the way in reaching the goal amount in savings!

This month it was car tax, MOT's and services. So you know... life!

But Im living in the real world. It is funny as the algorithm on this thing called the world wide web popped up a "See how I start my day" short video on youtube. This lady in her early 40s living in America with her huge clean spotless house and swimming pool, here was the video in a nutshell:-

woke up at 7am and sat at the dining table alone drinking matcha tea

8am she gets ready for for 5k run a

10am she works behind a laptop overlooking her huge garden

1pm she has lunch

2pm does some work

3pm finishes work and does a workout

4pm had to collect her husband from the airport as he had been away on a big business trip

6pm makes dinner

7pm gets ready for bed

9pm in bed

and her end line was "If you want to have success you must stay consistent" as she's smiling away at the camera.

My reaction was... "Oh would you please f%*% off."

Whose life is actually like this? and of course you can make videos like this on youtube as you are a stay at home wife that has a small business or youtube was her business.

Please don't fall into the trap in what you see on social media is what life is meant to be or look like.

These are people that don't have a 40 hour a week job with kids or family commitments or have a household income that is less than 300K a year.

Life is hard and sometimes it can be relentless.

You need to do whats best for you and your family and celebrate the wins when you can.

Spend time with friends and family.

Eat well and laugh

Spend time outside

Do some exercise to keep you sane - the fat loss and muscle toning is the added bonus!

Life is life! we are all going through it and we are all doing the best we can!

What's your workout?

Repeat this for 30 mins and take rest when you need to. Do it 5 times a week for 30 days and be shocked at the changes you make physically and mentally.

What are you listening to?

Since I had my first peugoet 205 I listened to Radio 2 - better music and the presenters like Terry Wogan and Simon Mayo always made me laugh.

Simon Mayo had a segment on his drive time called "Confessions" where callers would confess their sins and shenanigans for judgement by fellow listeners and for 15 mins it was the funniest side splitting time and driving home after work could become dangerous as tears would be falling out of my eyes.

The fun part was if I was stuck in traffic you could always look across the road and see that other travellers were laughing and in hysterics as well.

At the end of the week all the confessions would be uploaded and if you missed them you could download the podcast and you would have an hour of hillarity to listen to at the weekend.

Then the BBC became all woke and Simon Mayo moved radio stations and the podcast disappeared for a long time.

He is now on greatest hits radio and I found of the podcast has been back for over a year!

So I have been frantically listening again and it is still the funniest listen ever!

If you need a laugh and become obsessed have a listen!
