New challenge day 14 - party time and coffee machines

Hi team

It was my sons birthday party today... but to him it was his actual birthday!

We had 8 or 9 under 5 year olds running around the house and hosting parents I hardly know, last time we did one of these I only had an AreoPress to make coffee with. I love my Areopress, I have had it for over 3 years and I don't think I've had an instant coffee in those three years!

But it's only great for making one or two cups of coffee. I invested in a filter coffee machine and it's a game changer, 1) for myself who just sets the timer and it will make a fresh jig of coffee for the morning without thinking about it. 2) Coffee machines are great just to have a jig of coffee ready to go for guests.

I stand by my areopress at work or camping it's great for the 1 or 2 cups you may need to make and it's honestly the best £25 I spent in the last 3 years.

Buy one here (they are now £35. Inflation)

If you want a great filter coffee machine I recommend Melitta

Buy one here (same price £35 as an areopress but you will get 12 cups of coffee in a jug!)

Or to save even more money I now use a thermos and fill that up for the day with coffee I've made from the coffee machine in the morning. I refuse to pay £3.30 for a black coffee!

I've eaten rubbish all day and not enough fruit or veg. And I feel tried and a little grumpy towards the end of the day.

It is strange my body definitely misses eating healthy when I have a day of crap... or what some people consider 'normal' food.

No workout today.
