It's a Sunday and a day off from Old Skool Strength.
It's been a funny few days as life gets hard and tough and occasionally will sneak up on you.
With life being more expensive year on year, cars breaking down, medical fees, family illness' its been a bit of a realization that life is hard.
Now, I'm Mr Positive, and yes life is hard but everyone's life is hard and it depends on how you adapt, and keeping life as simple as possible makes things a lot less stressful for me.
With life being tough it surprises me that country music isn't as popular as it once was.
The whole genre is about hard work, family, social and cultural differences and heartache.
I have always listened to country music as my indie rock love was born from country and storytelling.
There is a new guy in town in this genre named Oliver Anthony and his song "Rich Men North of Richmond' pretty much sums up things at the moment.
it also reminds me of Baz Lurhman's advice.
Look, I believe life overall is amazing and I am a very lucky guy.
I work hard in life to have the life I want and do the best for my family.
