New challenge day 29 - Embrace the suck

Hi team


Another tough day with family issues.


I felt like I needed to work out today so I got it in early before work.


Working and dealing the family stuff is hard and sucks.


A lot of people keep saying "take time off"


But I know I can do both and I will take time off when I really need to be there for the family.


At the moment I can manage both. Yes, work is taking a light 2nd but trust me I am doing more work still that a lot of people who do not have a stressful situation in their life. They just ponder through mediocrity.


I see it as a challenge.


I'm not going going to dwell or sulk until I really need.


I'm not going to wallow in pity or sadness.


That moment will come.


It will be a moment.


It sucks. Life at times sucks.


The navy seals final test is hell week that is a brutal week of physical and mental tests and challenges and the soldier can quit at any time and ring the bell.


If they do that they admit to themselves the team and then whole training centre that they gave up with the bell echoing for miles.


They have a saying.


"Embrace the suck"


You find out who you really are when things suck.


You find out who you are when turn to you and look for your answers when sometimes you don't have them.


Embrace the suck.


Learn from it.

Become stronger.

And use the experience to be better.


Workout


Clean and press 55kg

Chin ups 25kg

Deadlift 150kg

Curls 55kg

Dips 45kg

Ab wheel


It's time to embrace the suck and go up in weights.
